STOP COVID

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the global community on an unprecedented scale. In the US, its impact has been especially severe in communities of color, particularly African American and Latino communities that have seen a disproportionate number of deaths. These communities already face disparities accessing healthcare due to a number of economic and environmental issues that have caused an increased risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus, as well as greater challenges in managing and overcoming the virus for those afflicted.

Within the identified cities, STOP COVID will be working to increase access to services and programs by:

  • Providing free COVID-19 drive-up and walk-through testing

  • Distribution of health and safety kits that will include face masks, hand sanitizer, and educational resources on COVID-19

  • Coordinating with community food partners to provide food boxes or food vouchers and information to other social services
